# Flows

> Trigger Klaviyo flows from Subtotal events.

Subtotal events can be used as **real-time triggers** for Klaviyo flows.

## Example: Post-purchase retail flow

1. Navigate to **Flows → Create Flow**
2. Choose **Create from scratch**
3. Set the trigger to **Purchased at Retailer**
4. Build your email or SMS flow
